The Analysis of Supervision in Social Assistance and Psychotherapy

Summary/Abstract: The supervision is a process of controlled self-reflection towards our own efforts, activities and consequences, that implies a cognitive process. Its formative valences appear in the development of mental elaboration of processed information, of emotional development, of the hierarchical system of purposes. Because of these valences, the supervision is applied to all the activities which implies the human factor. The given study suggests to realize a comparison between the possibilities of realizing a supervision and its potential benefits for social assistance and psychotherapy. The obtained results point out the realized progresses on supervision, but also the vulnerabilities, the possible and necessary directions in the development of supervision in Romania.
