Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the present study is to identify in the 4th Gospel the pericopes that talk about Saint John The Baptizer but also to observe the way Saint John The Evangelist portrays Saint John The Baptizer in comparison to the synoptic Gospels. In other words, in order to outline the theological dimension of Saint's John the Baptizer message in the 4th Gospel we turned our attention upon the Christological-theological dimension of Saint's John the Baptizer expression about Jesus Christ: "Here comes the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world".
