Didactic Aspects of the Teaching of Musical Forms

Summary/Abstract: A contribution is oriented on some aspects of the musical forms teaching didactics within the study programmes of musical education on pedagogical faculties of Slovak universities. The author pays attention to the two concrete areas. He firstly deals with a characteristic and analysis of the reachable literature, which can be used as a didactic tool – a textbook. In the second part the author points at the necessity of a new – integral approach to the matter of musical forms, while he suggests to connect the theory with an analysis of the concrete music works what will help the understanding of the theory and the better fixation of a curriculum.
