FINANCING OF TERRORISM

Summary/Abstract: The article provides statistics related to some terrorist attacks that have been committed during the past few years and which have necessitated the unification of all countries in the efforts to prevent and detect actions by natural persons, legal persons, groups and organizations that are directed at financing terrorism. A brief overview of the main known sources of terrorist financing is provided - through voluntary donations, deductions from traders, production of raw opium, arms trade and smuggling.
