The P8_TA (2017) 0324 resolution of the European Parliament and the Romanian higher education of the future

Summary/Abstract: Taking note of a directive of the European Parliament regarding the importance of supporting the future development of distance learning based on ICT means, the present article argues for the viability of such a strategy in the case of Romanian musical higher education as well, through a mixed method of teaching which can do more than merely achieve the same performance goals as those of classical education, and be in itself a long-term survival strategy without which it will not be possible to keep up with the educational demands of the future.
