Summary/Abstract: The history of Melotherapy has been expanded for over 2500 years and was divided as follows: the Antiquity era, with its four great traditions of medicine, learn and cultivated (Greek tradition and Roman tradition, Arabic, Indian, and Chinese tradition), the Middle Eve era, followed by Renaissance and Classicism, and last, beginning with 1800, the Modern era of Melotherapy. As the title of our survey suggests, we will analyze the presentation of an important personality who marked the history of modern therapy, but before this, we wish to make an opening in the cultural concept of modernity.
