Summary/Abstract: In this article, we present the latest book by Prof. Dr. Cseke Péter, edited in Budapest, by the publishing house "Nap Kiadó", in 2020: Trianoni hófogságban. 1918–1945–1990. Eszmetörténeti tanulmányok (Captive in the Mists of Trianon. Studies in the History of Current of Ideas. 1918–1945–1990), in which the author reviews the movements of Hungarian intellectuals in Transylvania between the two world wars. The currents generated by the magazine Erdéyi Fiatalok (Transylvanian Youth), Hitel (Credit), etc. are analyzed, and it is concluded that during this period there was a real attempt to reconcile the "trans-Danubian" cultures by the top intellectuals of Europe, but unfortunately , these eff orts were crushed with the outbreak of World War II. The volume traces the intellectual achievements of Jancsó Béla, who infl uenced the Hungarian cultural movements in Carpathian Basin for decades.
