Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study was to determine the effect of economic conditions on employee voices. The oil industry and the countries of Italy, Bangladesh and the United Kingdom have been selected to achieve this goal. In order to determine this effect, 3 face-to-face interviews with trade union representatives, 3 face-to face interviews with Human Resources managers and a survey with 150 employees were conducted. All viewpoints were obtained separately, and findings were compared. The results show that current economic conditions significantly affect employee voices in the UK and Italy. In fact, the company in Italy stopped training programs to cut costs. However, no such effect was detected for the company in Bangladesh. The results of the regression analysis showed that the diversity of security procedures, grievance procedure, significantly predicted employee satisfaction and loyalty.
