Zum Bedarf an onomasiologischen Wörterbüchern in der zweisprachigen Phraseographie am Beispiel des Deutschen und Polnischen

Summary/Abstract: The article is a plea for a bilingual onomasiological lexicography which may be especially helpful for translators. Furthermore, the reader can find here a description of German and Polish dictionaries which are at least partially onomasiological and the presentation of the linguistical literature about the theoretical aspects of the onomasiological dictionaries. The article concludes with the presentation of the ‚clustering‘ technique whose basic idea is the rearrangement of the phraseological units according to the key notions. The presentation is done on the example of the ‚exaggeration‘ concept.
