Summary/Abstract: In the first part of the article, JITRO - Czech Children's Choir from Hradec Kralove, is introduced as a thriving ensemble with an eventful history and a number of future goals. Then there are presented the ways in which the Czech folk art is used in the area of development of singing techniques and intonation skills. The entire contribution is closed by a graphical representation of the share of Czech folk art on the number of studied and mastered pieces.
