Summary/Abstract: The author presents a systematic set and interpretation of quantitatively variant wordforming suffixes, which is based on his concept of rhythmic distribution law as a phonological rule applicable in the field of morphology and wordformation. This set of quantitatively variant wordforming suffixes is analogous to a set of quantitatively variant formforming suffixes, but in contrast to them, these wordforming suffixes do not create wordforming paradigms built on a quantitative basis. The concept is illustrated by numerous examples from the current standard Slovak language.
