Summary/Abstract: Fiction and documentary films belong to the same art, that of motion pictures. Hybridism of these two components of this art is quite logical, offering different opportunities for interesting creative quests and authorial solutions. Reenactments in documentaries are one of the most popular methods of film hybridism. Thanks to modern technologies, staging re-enactments is increasingly easier and, although hybridism has always existed, it has become the hallmark of contemporary film. It was necessitated both by shortage of archival records and striving for a more creative cinematic expression, along with the expectations of spectators themselves.
