Summary/Abstract: The article entitled Year 2020 and „its“ influence on the state budget and state debt of the Czech Republic deals with the measures taken by the Czech government in 2020. The author evaluates this situation of the 6 month of the year (from March till September). However, it is certain that the condition caused by COVID‑19 will continue. It is not clear how far the impact on the state budget of the Czech Republic will lead, but the unfortunate influence is quite evident. The author points out that the article should be taken as a basis for further discussions and evaluations that will come after the crisis situation has calmed down or resolved.
