Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the influence of legal culture on choosing the right method of dispute resolution. First part of the paper defines term “dispute resolution” and divides it into different types. Then the contribution focuses on legal culture itself. Third concentrates on revealing the connection between legal culture and choice of facilitative method of dispute resolution in the Czech Republic. The last part analysis limits in using facilitative methods of civil dispute resolution in current Czech legal system.
