Summary/Abstract: This study aims to derive the overall contribution to the restoration of dance as a therapeutic tool by iconic European 20-century choreographers. Through them, it outlines the path of dance from the stage to the clinical setting and its comeback as a therapeutic choreographic solution. The focus of the study falls on the crossing points between dance and therapy. In this regard, it provides specific examples and studies with clearly distinguished useful health qualities of dance that predispose people (professionals and those in need) to prefer dance to ther arts or psychological and body-oriented methods as a therapeutic tool in the 21st century.
