Cooperation of the School with Parents: Selected Levels and Aspects

Summary/Abstract: The development of an individual is primarily influenced by two basic environments– family and school. Therefore, the basis of coherent education is the joint action of both of these environments. It is impossible to educate a person through two contradicting environments. The child needs stabilization, clearly defined norms and rules to be able to fully develop. The article highlights the contemporary vision of parent-teacher collaboration, and also examines the effectiveness of parent-school collaboration to date.
