PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION IN GREECE – CORRUPTION, CLIENTELISM AND WEAKNESSES IN THE GOOD GOVERNANCE SYSTEM

Summary/Abstract: This article presents only some of the main weaknesses of the Greek public administration that make it problematic and show that it will be difficult to return to normal. Voters know that corruption is closely linked to the functioning of the administration and seek accountability from parties and the governments they form. Studies show that the plunder of state resources correlates with the structure and functioning of parties.
