Summary/Abstract: The text is part of my doctoral research, the presented paragraph representing an analysis over the consumerism, especially on the clothing consumerism, targeting the psychology and behavior of the consumer. The consumer interest, approach and behavior, came from the desire to identify what makes us purchase, which is the moment of the psychological decline according to which people have come to treat certain objects ( whether they are clothing or not) as consumer goods. What feelings arouse our purchase of clothing and last but not least, how can we act in order to return to a more sustainable lifestyle. The research being anchored in the past, oriented towards the present and implicitly towards the future.
