Summary/Abstract: Contemporary social space is characterized by unprecedented elasticity of interpretation of norms, patterns of behavior, ambiguous analysis of values defining socially approved goals of undertaken activities. The social world has found itself in a state of permanent anomie that has mastered most of its dimensions. However, it should be firmly stated that one can not remain passive in the face of overt abuse in the workplace, and pathological behaviors can not be tolerated further by society. Labor anomia is one of those problems whose scale and dynamics are constantly growing. Organizations that experience the phenomenon of anomie do not have a consistent method of controlling it, in most cases do not have a plan involving comprehensive and coordinated action, the purpose of which would be to solve problems related to dishonest behavior of employees. The basis for the effective prevention of employee anomie and the help of organizations already affected by it is a proper diagnosis of the problem and a multi-aspect diagnosis of this social phenomenon. In the context of business management, an employee's anomie should be understood as a systematic occurrence of behaviors in employees or more often in employee groups that bring the organization to measurable financial losses. According to the research of Polish Employers of the Republic of Poland, the main obstacle to the growth of productivity and quality of work in Poland is the social anomia that is socially inherited after real socialism, which blocks the creation of the employee ethos and the resulting self-control.
