Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with bilateral agreements on defence cooperation. Such agreements are nothing new in the world. They are approached by different states in different variants and combinations. Based on the analysis of Brandon J. Kinne, this paper analyses and compares bilateral defence cooperation agreements between the USA and Estonia and the USA and the Slovak Republic. The assumption that the agreement with the USA is a vassal agreement rather than an agreement between two equal partners is confirming.
