Summary/Abstract: Using the articles previously published in the Arhiva Someşană journal (from 1924 until 2018), the author emphasizes how World War I and the Great Union are reflected. In an attempt to show that, in its three series, the journal offered valuable contributions to the understanding and the evaluation of the events, we discuss aspects such as documentary reconstruction and the publication of sources and images. Furthermore, we have also looked at the biographies of people like Emil Tişca or Albert Porkolab, who fought in the conflagration; the contribution of priests from the Năsăud area and associations such as the Transylvanian Association for Romanian Literature and Culture of the Romanian People – ASTRA, Năsăud Department.
