Summary/Abstract: The concept of hybrid warfare has become the new black of the vocabulary of the defence community in Romania and beyond. It is studied extensively by students of military and civilian academies. The term is so popular because it claims to embody the characteristics of modern warfare. The paper is addressed to military personnel and not only, who consider it is time for a change in the paradigm of understanding unconventional warfare.
