DEVELOPMENT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND ROBOTIC TECHNOLOGIES IN TURKEY AND IMPACT OF COVID-19

Summary/Abstract: Countries have been conducting strategies and studies for the purpose of using artificial intelligence and robotic Technologies for their own interest in the world since the preceding years. Turkey is also implementing development policies for the robot automation in order not to stay out of this development and change. In this study, both the developments in use of artificial intelligence in Turkey are analyzed and expectations pertaining to the benefits to be obtained from the use in changing conditions under the impact of Covid-19 are included. It is aimed to determine the current requirements due to the use of this technology in definition, follow-up and estimations of epidemics, production of protective material, tracking of infectious individuals, tele-medicine applications, remote health services and transportation and storage services in supply chain.
