Summary/Abstract: Foreign trade comprises one of the factors influencing the economic growth and development of a given country. It is necessary to apply appropriate instruments of trade policy in order to stimulate international exchange. Different kinds of solutions promoting domestic products are applied in the Polish economy. The insurances and guarantees offered by KUKE S.A. are instruments to limit export risk guaranteed by the State Treasury. The system of export credits insurance is one of the programmes to support exports in Poland.
