Quality management of the pension market participants’ financial means in Poland

Summary/Abstract: The pension market was created on 1st January 1999 with the advent of the pension- annuity reform. Prior to establishing the additional two pillars only the Social Insurance Office existed on the market, though extremely ineffective. The second pillar is constituted by open pension funds, whereas the third one – by the worker’s pension plans and individual pension accounts. Besides the Polish pension market analyses the article evaluates the quality of the potential pensioners’ financial means management.
