Motif of building in Serbian and Romanian folk literature

Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with repetitions and myths in the folk poems Zidanje Skadra andMeşterul Manole, related to construction, the sacrifice to a construction, family relationships,motherhood, on which the meaning of these two poems is built. It is shown that the poem is composed on the principle of repetition: from verse, through certain segments, to the whole of the work. It is assumed that this type of analysis can facilitate the mediation of this poem to the pupils or students and their understanding of the concepts of traditional culture.
