Summary/Abstract: We know that the energy of a conflict is what makes the vitality of a couple, that conflict develops a contact and supports growth and development of both an individual and a couple. Capability to shape and maintain the capacity and energy of a conflict through the dialogic relationship enables mutual coverage of partners’ differences and their encounter in intimacy. This paper presents the qualitative research - The experience of a conflict in partnership relation. The aim of this research was to examine the experience of a conflict in partnership relation taking into account the phenomenological aspect. This is why we applied the Interpretative phenomenological method as a method of data analyses. The aim of this method is to explore and understand personal and relational aspects of the experience of a conflict in partnership relation. The samples were two heterosexual couples, aged between 28 and 31 year, living in a partnership for two years. The research was realized with the half-structured interview. The results of the research showed how the process of self-organization in support or non-support of I-You position is manifested, how the partners’ awareness of relational, co-creative fields, is present, and what is the 55 experience of a process of assimilation after the conflict. In addition, the research revealed the meanings and understandings the respondents use to define the phenomenon of a conflict, especially with regard to the argument and dialog. The revealed results were reviewed and recognized within the modern theoretical considerations of a couple’s dynamic in conflict.
