Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to give the first insight into one of the disciples of Jesus Christ, who according to the New Testament is notorious for his betrayal of Jesus Christ. However, the ‘betrayer’ is not the only possible and existing attribute of Judas Iscariot. The paper deals with Judas Iscariot form different viewpoints. Firstly, the paper deals with Judas Iscariot and significance of his person in the Gospel of Judas which has given a great impulse to overlook the question concerning Judas Iscariot. Secondly, the paper examines the New Testament and The Acts that have served as source for variety of interpretations that followed them. Lastly, the main questions are marked out whom most of countless interpretations of the individuality and conduct of Judas Iscariot address. Lastly, the paper marks out questions most often addressed in countless interpretations of Judas Iscariot’s personality and actions.
