Summary/Abstract: In the article the author presents the influence of Tsarist censorship on the fate of the first anti-Tsarist stories of the writer: The merit of the private Panteleiev, The elephant and Moska, and The night. The first two works were found and were rendered accessible to general readers only in our times. The night, however, appeared in the first Grin’s collection entitled The cap of invisibility which was published in 1908.
