Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to highlight the pressing problems of modern society, which is a combination of global information and communication with the stream segmentation of consumers, including tourism services. Methodology. To achieve the goal, the analytical, historical, sociological, and theoretical generalization methods were used. The scientific novelty of the study is the ratio of the cultural aspect of virtual tourism from the relationship between cultural and virtual types of tourism. Conclusions. Thus, geographical, national, political borders are weakening, the Internet makes it possible to communicate and build social networks and communities not only on territorial-national, linguistic, socio-economic principles but also based on common goals, interests, opportunities and means of expression. This becomes an essential aspect of developing a theoretical foundation for a new vision for the development of international tourism, taking into account the real socio-cultural diversity of the world. And its kind, as a cultural one, facilitating the assimilation of different norms and values of social experience by man, is one of the mechanisms of forming social identity through interpersonal connections, cognition, and creative search. To sum up, we can conclude that modern society is a combination of global information and communication with the stream segmentation of consumers, including tourism services. Tourism responds to the diversification of individuals, their problems, and expectations by counter diversification - particular territories and specific monuments with limited access, atypical modes of transport, risky entertainment, and individual routes.
