INTERNATIONALISMS IN NAMING SOCIAL TYPES IN RUSSIAN, POLISH AND FRENCH

Summary/Abstract: The article is concerned with the substantives used for naming various social types in Russian, Polish and French. All of them use the same linguistic techniques, i.e. morphological derivation and metaphor. Common borrowings in Russian and Polish derived mainly from French perform not only universal but also specific, ethnic functions.
