Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the linguistic problems in the columns of «Russian Review» (1992–1999). Especially the themes concerning new processes in the Russian language, semantic metamorphosis in the lexis, borrowings, problems of lexicography and terminology are discussed. In author’s opinion, periodical «Russian Review» fulfilled formerly and fulfils at present the important scientific and educational function.
