Summary/Abstract: Since its beginnings Russian children’s literature had been bound up with religious topics. The victory of revolution started a fight for a new, communist book for children. The policy of destruction towards writers resulted in many anti-religious books. Nowadays, in view of the constitutional and economic changes, the subject is returning.
