LEARNING, UNDERSTANDING AND INTERIORIZING OF THE RUSSIAN ORTHODOX ICON AS A RELIGIOUS AND CULTURAL PHENOMENON

Summary/Abstract: The area of research interests of the author are the ways of developing the cultural competence of Russian language students trying to learn, understand and interiorize the Russian Orthodox icon as a religious and cultural phenomenon. In her research the author shows the difference in understanding the icon by the Orthodox and Catholics, and also she presents the main didactic problems, solving of which enables to construct the linguodidactic scheme and detailed methodology of learning, understanding and interiorizing of cultural units using the example of an icon.
