Summary/Abstract: This text represents an excerpt from the Memorandum written by academician Virgil Cândea through which he brings historical and spiritual arguments, in the form of a memorandum, for the systematic assistance of the Romanian hermitage Prodromu from the Holy Mount Athos by the Romanian government. According to Mr. Cândea's daughter, Ioana Feodorov, his father completed this mission, with competence and dedication, considering the effort made as an immaterial donation that he had long wanted to make to the community of monks of the Romanian Athonite hermitage, to which he was connected through many and unseen threads.
