Summary/Abstract: This is a review of the latest book of father Alexandru Moraru, professor emeritus of History of Romanian Orthodox Church at the Faculty of Orthodox Theology of “Babeş-Bolyai” University in Cluj-Napoca, priest, theologian and writer, author of several books on church history and about Michael the Brave. It emphasizes the contributions of the author in the historiographical re-evaluation of the Romanian Prince and speaks about the role Michael played in the East-European and European space his life time, his contribution at the Romanian national ideal and his relationship with the Orthodox Church.
