Summary/Abstract: Family is an important factor that affects the development of personality and the socialization of the child in general. The structure of the family is an important prerequisite for its functionality, because disorders in the structure of the family often have a negative impact on the entire family system. There are numerous studies that indicate that the socio-economic situation within the family is an important factor that can influence the occurrence of criminal behavior among young people. For this reason, we wanted to investigate how the structure of the family and socio-economic characteristics, as well as their relationship, are actually indicators of the creation of risky situations that can affect the occurrence of many forms of deviant behavior in children and youth. This research starts from the dilemma of whether children from incomplete families and poorer socio-economic conditions are at higher risk of exhibiting some form of deviant behavior.
