Summary/Abstract: The poetry of Hristo Botev has always reproduced the reminiscence of original national literary iconostasis. The real space-time relations in the works of the poet are directing to the four winds of Bulgarian National Revival (St. Ft. Paisiy Holendarski, St. Bishop Sofroniy Vrachanski, Georgi S. Rakovski, Vasil Levski…). If one fragmentized the poetic heritage of Hristo Botev (20 poems) in independent subject entities and represent them as a de-fragmentary unity it could be determined that the relation between particular achievements and the poet’s personality moves more in a narrative preceptive discourse than only in the revolutionary engaged lyrical reincarnations. Each poem is above all a didactic picture, banner of the national notion of supreme Christian morality which reproduces the purity of the Bulgarian national ideal for language, nation and motherland. The poetry of Hristo Botev is not only a cultural phenomenon, but also a manifesto that represents the foundations of the Bulgarian being during the National Revival. It is shown that the emphatic imperative “Those who fell for the freedom shall never die” combined with the mourn of the Nature (Hadzhi Dimitar) and the open rebellion of the poet against the torpidity (V mehanata) is Socratic moral message. This global philosophical invention allows us to combine the irreversibility of the individual Bulgarian time with the optimism of the national literary thinking which has always tended to occupy a “central position“ between the conservative Christian self-consciousness and the elusive determinations of the time passing (Ivan Vazov, Aleko Konstantinov, Geo Milev, Nikola Vaptsarov…).
