Summary/Abstract: The aim of the study was to indicate the possibility of using the tools of spatial information systems (GIS) in education at the higher education level based on graduate theses realized at the Poznań University of Life Sciences. Research was carried out on selected bechelor and master's theses which had been written at the faculties of Environmental Engineering and Spatial Management and Agriculture and Bioengineering, on Spatial Management and Environmental Protection courses. The years 2008–2017 were analyzed.
