THE ANALYSIS OF URBAN PRESSURE ON PROTECTED AREAS ON THE EXAMPLE OF PUSZCZYKOWO COMMUNE

Summary/Abstract: The study analyzed the spatial planning of Puszczykowo commune and determined its pressure on the natural values of protected areas, in particular, The National Park of Wielkopolska. It was assumed that the urban pressure is to transform undeveloped areas for two types of function: residential or service. The city of Puszczykowo is one of the communes in the Poznań Agglomeration, in which the surbanization process is observed. It is confirmed by both demographic changes (migrations of the population), changes in the land use structure and number of transactions of buying and selling of the real estate.
