Summary/Abstract: In this research, the author makes a brief presentation of the main aspects of the history of Romanian Orthodoxy in Israel. Using different sources published by several authors (historians or monks which were the Superiors of the Romanian Establishments in Jerusalem and Jordan), he presents the history of the Romanian Orthodoxy within this space and the dynamics of the relationship between the Romanian Orthodox Patriarchy and the Greek Patriarchate of Jerusalem. The paper outlines the most important aspects in the development of the Romanian Churches in Israel and shows how the existence of the Romanian Monasteries in Israel, Jordan and Jericho, increased the number of Romanian pilgrims in this area.
