Summary/Abstract: The author focuses on rhetorical topos presented as structural and semantic model of publicistic speech and as a common element on the basis of which new utterances are created. Publicistic writings of Yanka Sipakou and Vladimir Karatkevich serve as an example. The author of the article claims that harmonic combinations of complete topos enable a writer to show his thoughts and feelings in a more vivid and persuasive way.
