Summary/Abstract: The proposed article presents issues related to the functioning of young people in a peer group, a sense of loneliness and social isolation as the main factor leading to addiction of children and young people during adolescence. The research presented in the article was conducted among 184 people, and the data collected during the study allowed to resolve the main hypothesis.
