Summary/Abstract: The paper analyses haw the age of the hero in the drama and theater in the communism era functions as a central concept of ideology. The text show how it determines the heros image on the stage, and how it reflects on the actors play, stage-language and the pathetic-monumental aesthetics of the performance.
