Summary/Abstract: The intention of this essay is to relate motives coming from “The New History”, from Hannah Arendt's praxeology of the historical and the political, and from the reflexive sociology of Pierre Bourdieu. The light in which all these motives will be reflected is the problem of the constitution of the temporally unfulfilled objects. Vaguely conceived as “unfinished histories”, “uncompleted projects”, promises for a future that is to compensate for an “affectedly unsatisfied past” - these are objects, topos that are unique for every collective, for every cultural identify in whose study the interests meet of historians and sociologists, politicians and citizens. The task of this essay is to clarify (through a phenomenological method) the two temporal perspective to the history that has happened; to describe the “contexts” in the narrative as symptomatic formations that bear witness of “finished” or “unfinished” histories
