Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present the fundamentals of the Great Mother archetype in Aleksandr Sokurov’s film Alexandra using the anthropological-morphological method of analysis. The effect of meeting between the protagonists, Alexandra and Denis, and their interweaving, is a new person – a perfect being where the masculine and feminine is brought to a perfect harmony.
