Practices of resistance of the contemporary alternative theater on an example of artistic and paratheatrical actions of the Barak Kultury Foundation

Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the problem of resistance practices used by artists and animators of the contemporary scene of independent theaters, with particular emphasis on the activities of the Barak Kultury Foundation in Poznań, in which the Ba-Ku Theater functions. These contemporary practices of contention include broad artistic and extra-theatrical activities, which are an expression of rebellion, against important social issues such as the problem of ethnic minorities, sexual and disabled people, pollution and environmental degradation, excessive consumerism.
