Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the present article is to present the novelties brought to trademark law in Romania as a result of the transposition into national law of Directive (EU) no. 2015/2436 to approximate the laws of the Member States relating to trademarks, as well as to analyse the further applicability of judgments of the Court of Justice in preliminary ruling proceedings or on the integration of those judgments into the new legislative frame.
