Kombornia – Jasło – Krosno: the remembrance zone of Stanisław Pigoń

Summary/Abstract: The objective of the paper is to reminisce about numerous projects related to Stanisław Pigoń, undertaken by various circles and institutions in the region closest to the scholar, i.e. in Kombornia, Krosno, and Jasło. Local initiatives commemorating Professor Pigoń were presented, which originated in recognition of the eminence of his achievements and their educational and didactic values, conferences, meetings, and ceremonies, organized over the past years, among others, by the Stanisław Pigoń Primary School in Kombornia, Stanisław Pigoń Krosno State College, and Stanisław Leszczyński High School in Jasło. The paper is complemented by a bibliography of publications devoted to Professor Pigoń.
