Short Description
The main thematic areas of the ‘Studia Pigoniana,’ published since 2018 by the Carpathian State College in Krosno, include literature and language, intercultural contacts, translation studies, Polish and European tradition, humanities and the outstanding representatives of this discipline, as well as the history of ideas. Individual volumes aspire to become a platform for the exchange of thoughts for researchers focused on issues consequential for contemporary culture and human condition. The title of the journal refers to Stanisław Pigoń, patron of the Carpathian State College in Krosno, professor of the Jagiellonian University, researcher of literature, man of exceptional merit for the Polish science.
